I work a lot with smart homes in my spare time, and especially in that connection I am forced to see things from many different perspectives in order to optimize automations and routines. As long as I have a good overview of the tools at my disposal, I can achieve most things.
My name is Thomas Peelen, I am 22 years old, and I work with IT for Uloba Independent Living Norge in Drammen. I am very interested in data, and quickly absorb new knowledge. I live in Kongsberg and am married.
Attended IKT-Servicefag at Bleiker VGs where I learned the basics of operating and maintaining servers and PCs, troubleshooting several of the layers in the OSI model, as well as navigating and using Windows Server.
Attended Service & Transport VG1 at Bleiker VGs where I learned the basics of budgeting, logistics, and being service-minded.
Started in Uloba as an apprentice after studying ICT Service, and became a permanent employee after the apprenticeship. Worked here as 1st line support.
I sit on the board of the Norwegian Association of the Blind Youth Region North, where I am the leader of the board of 4 people. Here we plan events for visually impaired youth in Northern Norway, as well as carry out political influence where possible.
